Tifa hails from the rougher side of the tracks.
Namely, the "Final Fantasy VII" world of the grittier Square universe. Tifa and
her (never seen because I don't have a good spritesheet of him) husband, Cloud,
have both saved the world once, but now they're happy enough just running the
7th Heaven Bar and Grille in Midgar. Midgar, by the way, just HAPPENS to be
conveniently connected to the Mushroom Kingdom via a well-known warpzone.
(You'll find that the Mushroom Kingdom connects to quite a number of worlds this
way.) Anyway, Tifa's a bit of a feisty thrillseeker with a warm, friendly
personality and a very deeply-hidden co-dependence disorder.
And, in case you're playing Final
Fantasy VII for the first time or something, she's one of the best characters in
the game... Despite the fact that the character designers were a bit naughty
concerning her... *cough* measurements.
(Ugh... two shamefully large-chested and
flirtatiously-dressed female characters already in the series... Shame, SHAME on you, modern video-game artists!)
