Mushroom People
The Mushroom People are the majority of the citizens in
Mushroom Kingdom (hence the name).
Mostly peaceful, the Mushroom People enjoy
a happy, quiet life in their little world. If only that meddlesome monster
Bowser Koopa and his cronies would leave them alone. On the whole, most Mushroom
People are pretty mild-mannered, but a few, such as castle servants Toad and
Wooster, can be rather unpredictable; and even a few others are just plain
rotten to the core and have either sided with Bowser and Robotnik, or just make
awful for others by themselves.
As for what they are, they are certainly
NOT mushrooms. They're just strange little people who enjoy wearing hats that
look like mushroom caps. Go
figure.
