Miaka fits somewhere in the group as either
co-leader with Norm or second-in-command. She's one of the few mature members of
the team and shares many of Norm's qualities. She's intelligent, athletic,
strong-willed, and pure-hearted. She also possesses a bit more patience than
Norm and is skilled in martial arts (animé-style, of course). Miaka and her
father recently moved to America from Japan, where they were, well... actually
sort of run out of their homeland for their strong Christian beliefs. Ostracized
by the majority of Frackstonville High for the same reason; Miaka quickly became
a member of the outcasts, who are now helping their new comrade get used to
living in America... and usually tend to just make things even more
confusing.
