The
younger, taller, and more agile Luigi is like the Ed Norton to his brother
Mario's Ralph Kramden. He's shy, peaceful, kind-hearted... and a tad gullible.
While Mario is always ready for the next death-defying adventure to save the
world, Luigi prefers peace and quiet safely away from danger; but he will do
anything to help his friends. Luigi is usually the hero who does most of the
hard, dangerous work in the adventures, simply because it's easy to trick him
into it. His closest friends are the stoic and occasionally haughty Knuckles,
the innocent and creative Tails, and Luigi's energetic and strong-willed
childhood sweetheart: Daisy. (How'dya like all them adjectives there?
Hmm?)
Luigi resides in Nimbus Apartments, next door to Sonic and Tails,
and next window (if you will) to Angel Island. One of these days, he plans to
propose to Daisy... if he can gather the
courage...
